birthday girl..

today i attended a birthday party for my niece, madeline. she just turned 1 year old and she is just about the most beautiful baby girl i ever did see.. but i suppose i'm just a wee bit partial =]

i have been waiting for one of my sisters to have a baby girl so i could make them this little sweater.. so i finally bought the yarn and decided to knit it for madeline for her birthday present. it turned out really cute, a little bit too big but she'll grow into it.. i thought i would show it to you.
